The new innovation from CarDoc analyzes vehicle data collected from the car and detects hidden malfunctions. The service can also estimate whether the vehicle and its battery can handle upcoming cold starts. CarDoc knows when the battery needs to be changed and can inform you on the condition of the charger and the starter, fault codes and the location of the vehicle.

CarDoc’s innovation had its inspiration when the German automobile club ADAC stated in its annual report that vehicle breakdowns had increased. In Germany, over 4 million vehicle breakdowns happen every year. According to the ADAC report, 52% of vehicle breakdowns result from electronic devices in vehicles. Car batteries cause 42% of all vehicle breakdowns. Additionally, fault codes are the most common reason for vehicles to fail inspection. Polar Heater’s new service predicts these problems and alerts the user before it is too late.
Its operational principle is protected by two registered patents.
Currently we are able to analyse and predict ca. 70% of all interruptions of travel. Even the meticulous analysis improves, the more data we gather. Not one automobile repair shop tester can do that.

Tapio Juvani is the CEO and majority shareholder of CarDoc, and the innovator behind CarDoc. He has co-created and conceptualised various patents for CarDoc. He has strong technical expertise through a long career at Finnair; Before founding CarDoc, Juvani worked as an aircraft mechanic and a flight crew member in Finland and elsewhere in Europe, specialising in condition monitoring and fault repair.
Juvani has many years of experience in solving battery issues of vehicles and heavy equipment especially during winter. His products have been used in regular and electric vehicles, buses, cranes, and other heavy equipment. Years of development work in the automotive industry led to the innovation of CarDoc.
